There’s something of a divide among the people of the world. There are coffee drinkers on one side. And just people who haven’t given it a chance yet on the other. It’d be tempting to say that people on that side just don’t get it. But it’s more that they haven’t had a chance yet. And this is where circumstance and kindness can really come together.
Because a lot of the time these people simply feel that they don’t have the right opportunities to really enjoy coffee. After all, most people love the smell of coffee. And there’s a number of possible health benefits to drinking coffee. A cup of coffee might even increase one’s longevity. That said, it’s natural that many people might assume coffee and their environment might not blend together very well.
For example, consider people in hotter climates. It’s natural for people to assume that hot weather and coffee wouldn’t mix. But among coffee’s long history it’s thought to actually have developed in fairly hot and arid climates. Hot coffee in warm weather might not sound refreshing at first. But the same could be said of a sauna. Subjecting oneself to steam nearly hot enough to boil might seem painful rather than refreshing. But one needs to really look at the full context of an experience to understand it. Or, rather, it might be better to say that one should actually try to experience it.
But even in hot climates there are other ways to enjoy coffee. For example, any type of Folgers ground coffee will stay wonderfully potent after making it if it’s kept in the fridge. This can easily keep it going beyond the typical two-hour window for coffee’s taste. But one doesn’t even have to heat it up. In fact, iced coffee can be quite the treat. And there’s more to consider as well.
Another point regarding lifestyle comes with travel. People often feel that they can’t really allow for the added storage space and weight that comes with coffee. But it’s really not that difficult to brew a cup of coffee when space is a premium. Take camping and hiking for example.
Hikers are usually the people who are most in need of space. As such, they often picture carrying around the standard restaurant style cup of coffee with them. And the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s true that liquids and hiking are a difficult match. But one can often get away without much water at all. Water itself is often widespread in many areas. For example, anyone hiking the Pacific Northwest can almost always find water nearby. Purifying the water is another story. But one can concentrate on proper filtration or purification systems for water.
And then they suddenly don’t have to worry about quite a bit of weight. And with the water no longer a concern it’s now trivial to use it for coffee. And of course, these are only a few examples. Really, where one can life a happy life there’s usually room for coffee.
